SPECTOR is proud to have designed the David S. Mack Center for Training and Intelligence | Nassau County Police Department Harry Singh Bolla Charity Foundation Training Village, a first-of-its-kind facility in the nation. Serving as a regional hub for Nassau County’s nineteen village and city police departments, as well as state and federal agencies, the center brings together a police academy, academic and fitness spaces, an intelligence bureau, an EVOC course, and a hyper-realistic indoor/outdoor training village within one comprehensive campus.
The Training Village replicates real-world environments—including a bar, restaurant, residences, house of worship, bank, train station, and more—allowing officers to safely train for the complex situations they may encounter in the field. Scenarios range from active-shooter response and hostage situations to de-escalation techniques and cultural sensitivity training. This immersive, experience-driven approach transforms how law enforcement professionals prepare for the evolving complexities of modern policing.
Highly visible from the Meadowbrook Parkway, the facility establishes a bold and sophisticated architectural presence while supporting an advanced public safety infrastructure. Real-time monitoring capabilities, school security connectivity, and links with federal agencies strengthen collaboration and intelligence sharing across jurisdictions.
