A new concept in higher education facilities, this combination of student/educator residential housing and learning center was specifically tailored for the new freshmen entering the university setting. All suite housing arrangements allow for immediate communal interaction for all new students. Within the same building, housing for educators and their families coexist in an overseeing, family-like environment. Also within the facility are general schoolrooms that are used specifically for freshman-oriented classes. The building is located at a major portal to the campus and the architecture reflects that gateway to everyday campus life.
