Description

SPECTOR Companies is seeking a Project Architect with 4 to 7 years’ experience working in an architectural design firm. Experience in project types ranging from commercial office interiors, mixed-use and landlord/building architecture is preferred.  Licensed architect preferred but not required with diverse knowledge of architecture principles and practices, uses advanced techniques, and has responsibility for finished plans, specifications, and material approval.  Work with Senior Project Architect & Project Manager for project deliverables.

What is Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture is required.
• Proficiency/working knowledge in AutoCAD and Revit is required.
• LEED Accreditation preferred.
• License / Actively pursuing Licensure preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication skills are essential.

Your Responsibilities

• Meeting with clients and stakeholders to discuss construction designs.
• Drafting building plans for commercial, industrial, and residential construction projects.
• Preparing budgets, material documents, and specification lists for client approval.
• Acting as an intermediary between the client and the construction team.
• Overseeing building contractors and construction crews.
• Visiting the site regularly to ensure construction adheres to state regulations.
• Ensuring the project remains on time and within specifications.
• Creating progress reports, time schedules, and revised budgets.
• Conducting a final inspection after the project is complete.
